Services
The Language Lab provides speech and language therapy services for children and young people, including:
Assessments
Individual therapy sessions
Parent coaching
AAC support
School and preschool collaboration
Teletherapy services
Written reports and professional liaison
Services are tailored to each child’s communication style, strengths, and support needs.
Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments may be booked via email, enquiry form, or direct contact.
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.
If your child is unwell, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
Fees & Payment
Current fees are outlined on the website and may be updated periodically.
Invoices are payable within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
Additional services such as reports, meetings, school visits, or liaison with other professionals may incur additional charges, which will be discussed in advance where possible.
Confidentiality & Privacy
The Language Lab is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and professional ethical obligations.
Information will only be shared with teachers, healthcare providers, or other professionals with your consent, unless disclosure is required by law.
